On September 23, PERUPETRO participated in the IX Petroleum Technical Week, organized by SPE UNI, with a presentation titled “PERUPETRO's Role in the Energy Industry,” delivered by Nathaly Francesca Lactayo Cáceres, a specialist in the Promotion and Contracting Management Department.

During her presentation, held at the Faculty of Petroleum, Natural Gas, and Petrochemicals at the National Engineering University (UNI), Lactayo Cáceres highlighted PERUPETRO's essential role in promoting investments and executing hydrocarbon exploration and production projects, thus contributing to the country’s energy security. Additionally, the positive impact of the industry on Peru's economic growth and competitiveness was discussed.

The event, which attracted students and professionals from the sector, provided an excellent opportunity to reflect on the future of hydrocarbon utilization in the country, as well as the strategies needed to ensure the sustainable development of energy resources.
