Between August 26-29, 2024, PERUPETRO actively participated in the AAPG / SEG International Meeting for Applied Geoscience and Energy (IMAGE), the most important event in geosciences applied to the energy industry, held in Houston, Texas. Through an exhibition booth and an outstanding presentation, PERUPETRO took the opportunity to show the energy potential of the country.

During the event, engineer Ysabel Calderón, executive of the Contracts Supervision area, gave a presentation entitled "Opportunities in Oil and Gas Exploration and Production in Peru". In her presentation, she highlighted the strategic opportunities and unexplored potential of the Peruvian energy sector, attracting the interest of international investors. PERUPETRO also showed innovative tools such as its Geoportal, the Data Bank and the Investors Portal, reinforcing its role as a facilitator of energy growth in the country.

Participation in international events such as IMAGE 2024 is fundamental to position Peru as an attractive destination for energy investment.
